Today we went to church in Memphis and then packed up and left. That was sad. We had such a good time with the Hales and Wilsons in Florida and in Memphis. They put up with us for 10 whole days!

Memphis Memories:  Unseasonably cool weather Monday through Thursday--hooray for that. It was perfect to have a hot day on Saturday for the Lake. On Sunday, when we were packing up the van, I finally felt what true Memphis summer heat is like--that's why they always said we should come in the fall or spring. And I'm sure it only gets hotter in July and August. Yikes. We lucked out.

Memphis People: Family is the best! Here are some pictures of our Memphis peeps. Just the kids.

So, I'm getting better at this photography thing about as fast as the effort I am putting into it, which equals just slightly greater than zero. On vacations it may equal around 4. Percent. Of my time. But with such good subjects, who can go wrong?

Goodbye Memphis. Goodbye Memphians. We love you!
